Professional Family Photography

Families are one of my favorite photo shoots because the love and laughter that exist within a family really comes through the camera lens.  I like to showcase all the special relationships that exist within the family.  And if the children are younger it's fun to capture them in their developmental stages, whether it be very young and discovering they can blow bubbles with their saliva or a little older and trying to tie their shoe.  Its a matter of  featuring who they are in this moment, in this stage.  I guarantee you will smile at those photos later on, especially during their teen years!

I charge a flat total rate of $350.00 for a family photo session.  A $50.00 deposit is due at the time of booking and the remaining $300.00 is due five days prior to our scheduled photo shoot.  My goal is to take as many photos as possible during our shoot and then select the best ones that I believe reflect your family.  I will then edit those photos and then present to you a gallery/slideshow of those edited photos.  You will be able to select your favorite 10 photos (included in your $350.00 payment) and I will upload them onto a USB drive for you.  Should you see other photos in the slideshow that you would like to purchase, you may do so at a cost of $20.00 per photo.  They will then be added to your USB drive.  Once you have your USB drive you are at liberty to print them in any size, in any amount, you wish.  My photos have been used for invitations, travel mugs, mouse pads, cake toppers, t-shirts and even into a blanket.  

It's difficult to pinpoint an exact timeframe since it really depends on the size of the family, the combinations of family members, the ages of the children as it all relates to the amount of time the session may take.  Older children will take less time to photograph than younger children who may need to be shown how to pose or may need a snack to regain their focus and energy.  Either way, I am determined to take as many photos as possible before calling it a day.  

I understand how excited you are to see your photos and that is why I have a turnaround of 1-3 weeks.  Some seasons are busier than others like the Fall.  I mean, can you blame anyone for wanting those beautiful Fall colors the Bosque give us?  Striking!  But if I can get your photos to you sooner I most certainly will. 

The amount of photos you receive in your gallery/slideshow is really determined by the amount of people in your family.  A three person family may see 30-45 edited photos in their slideshow while a seven person family may see 45-60.  I do not promise a minimum number of photos as variables involving young children can impact the length of time spent taking the photos and therefore the amount of photos taken.  Keep in mind, after you receive your edited slideshow you will have the opportunity to select 10 photos as part of your $350.00 purchase.  

Children grow so fast.  Grandparents leave us way too soon.  Before you know it a lot of time has passed since you last mentioned you wanted family photos taken.  In just a couple of hours in one day we can freeze time and provide you with photos that will make you smile and remind you of a time when everyone was together.
